I support Nilesh Patra <npatra974@gmail.com>'s request to become Debian
Developer, uploading. I have worked with Nilesh Patra in JavaScript team and
Go team for many months and I would like him to be able to upload packages on
his own now. He has be very thourough in his packaging work and he has helped
me with build failures in many Go libraries. He has also helped in transitions
like grpc/protobuf so he has advanced level of understading in packaging. He
also troubleshoots many arch specific build failures and having access to all
porterboxes would be very useful too.
I have personally worked with Nilesh Patra <npatra974@gmail.com> (key

Patra can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised,
unrestricted upload rights, right now.

I support Nilesh Patra <npatra974@gmail.com>'s request to become Debian Developer, uploading. I have worked with Nilesh Patra in the Debian Med project on lots of packages as well as some packages in the R and Go packaging teams for at least one year (probably longer. Nilesh has done a lot of pretty good work, like creating new packages, fixing lots of bugs in existing packages, wrote autopkgtests (before, while working as GSoC and afterwards) and even teached newcomers. He has earned my full trust and currently I simply grant him upload permissions as DM (at least one package per day, sometimes more).
I have personally worked with Nilesh Patra <npatra974@gmail.com> (key 3E99A526F5DCC0CBBF1CEEA600BAE74B343369F1) for a long time time. In the Debian Med COVID-19 hackathon he started to join our regular video conferences very regularly so I have regulare "face-to-face" meetings. I know Nilesh Patra can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now.

I support Nilesh Patra <npatra974@gmail.com>'s request to become Debian
Developer, uploading. I have worked with Nilesh Patra since the first
COVID-19 hackathons of Debian Med in April and his work in terms of
both volume and scrutiny is truly impressive. Nilesh is also not shying
away from anything that is new to all of us, like multi-part upstream
tarballs, and just solves problems. His communication is always friendly
and constructive.

I have worked with Nilesh Patra on a bunch of packages in JS and Golang team and I would like
him to be able to upload packages on his own, without asking for upload rights or sponsorship.
Whilst working all this time, he has shown great skills of packaging and debuging failures and
is not afraid of taking anything new. He handles all the work very timely and gracefully and
is a wonderful person to work with! And I truly belive that making him a DD would be a net
win for everybody.
