Details from slyon:
For nm.debian.org, at 2021-10-26:
I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Maintainer.
As a Ubuntu core-dev, netplan.io co-maintainer and netplan upstream
have worked on upstreaming several changes into Debian, like: python-
cider, dh-make-perl, procenv, git-buildpackage, rust-cargo-outdated,
python-mkdocs, streamlink, mailman-hyperkitty, zziplib and more –
and providing patches. In the future I would like to be able to continue
those general efforts and become eligible to upload netplan.io packages
