I happily support Daniel Lenharo de Souza <daniel@sombra.eti.br>'s request to
become Debian Developer, non-uploading.

Daniel Lenharo de Souza works with Debian since 2004. He has a very good
knowledge about Debian. He is a sysadmin in a large and important semi-public
undertaking (CELEPAR).

Daniel is full involved with Free Software Movement in Brazil. He acts as
speaker and organizate events as FLISOL, Debian Day, Mini DebConfs and
others. He is always present in big events, as FISL[1] and Latinoware[2],
as a member in Debian stand and disseminating the Debian Project. He also
acts as Debian translator for Brazilian Portuguese for several years.

I have personally worked with Daniel Lenharo de Souza <daniel@sombra.eti.br>
(key 31D80509460EFB31DF4B9629FB0E132DDB0AA5B1) for several times, and I know
Daniel Lenharo de Souza can be trusted to be a full member of Debian,
right now.

I am eager to see Daniel as a DD.

Thanks!

Eriberto

I fully support Daniel Lenharo de Souza <daniel@sombra.eti.br> to become Debian
Developer, non-uploading.

Daniel has been working for several years in free software events in Brazil and
especially in Debian events at Campus Party, FISL, Latinoware and Mini DebConf.

I have personally worked with Daniel Lenharo de Souza <daniel@sombra.eti.br>
(key 31D80509460EFB31DF4B9629FB0E132DDB0AA5B1) since 2015 in the organization of
Debian events in Brazil and Daniel was especially important in the organization
for DebConf18 BID in Curitiba. I know Daniel Lenharo de Souza can be trusted to
be a full member of Debian and I would like to see Daniel as DD non-uploading

I have known Daniel for a few years. To the best of my knowledge he is involved
in two main activities within Debian: translation and events. I am not
particularly familiar with his translation efforts other than knowing that he
is often giving talks about the Debian translation process in free software
events in an attempt to gather new contributors.

I am, however, very familiar with his event-organizing work. We have organized
two MiniDebconfs together, as well as smaller events such as Debian Day etc.
Daniel is a pleasure to work with and goes above and beyond to make sure the
events gets what it needs. Besides organizing Debian related events, he also
organizes general free software events such as FLISOL
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FLISOL).

When not doing any of the above, he is often ensuring Debian presence in events
organized by others, including national events and events in other parts of
Brazil. This presence includes speaking about Debian, staffing booths/tables,
and selling swag (t-shirts/stickers/mugs).

I believe we should welcome Daniel as an official Debian member, now.
