I support Maytham Alsudany <maytha8thedev@gmail.com>'s request to become a Debian Maintainer.
I have worked with Maytham Alsudany on many Go packages
since Nov, 2023 and I consider them as having sufficient technical competence.
Maytam and I first interacted because we were both interested in taking over the maintenance
of kitty package (Bug#1055347). I have been very impressed with Maytham's technical competence.
They were able to fix issues in a complicated package and able to make high quality packages.
I have also sponsored some RFS requests from them in the Golang team and I always had only
minor reviews/comments. I believe it'd be great to have Maytham as a DM.
I have personally worked with Maytham Alsudany <maytha8thedev@gmail.com>

can be trusted to have upload rights for their own packages, right now.

then came invidtui, and cam2ip, with all its dependencies.
