For nm.debian.org, at 2024-12-20:
I support Rebecca Natalie Palmer <rebecca_palmer@zoho.com>'s request to become a Debian Developer, uploading.
I have worked with Rebecca Natalie Palmer in the med and science teams
for 3 years and I consider them as having sufficient technical competence.
I have worked with Rebecca in the med and science team on snakemake and pandas packages (transition for the latter)
and their work, techincal experience is truly impressive. They have been a DM for 6 years, have a lot of experience
and I have no doubt that they would be a great DD.
I have personally worked with Rebecca Natalie Palmer <rebecca_palmer@zoho.com>
(key 618FD7C96C313F4A11FC3D66524DD2227A5017ED) for 2 years, and I know Rebecca Natalie Palmer
can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now.

For nm.debian.org, at 2024-12-20:
I support Rebecca Natalie Palmer <rebecca_palmer@zoho.com>'s request to become
a Debian Developer, uploading. I have worked with Rebecca Natalie Palmer
mainly on pandas, through the Debian Python Team and I've seen them work on many
other pandas-related packages in that team for a number of years.
For at least two release cycles now where I have been involved with the DPT,
I've seen Rebecca work hard to make pandas, a crucial but complex package, pass
through sometimes very difficult Python transitions.
pandas is one of these packages people _really_ need in the archive (as so many
packages depend on it) and I'm very glad someone as competent and dedicated as
Rebecca is taking care of it and keeping up with an upstream that is often late
in what tends to be a very tiring Python release cycle. As such, I consider
them as having sufficient technical competence.
